Dual Core smartphoneThe new MT870 is the first dual core phone with the latest Android 2.3 operating system. This new Android 2.3 is dubbed “Gingerbread”. The phone features unparalleled processing power. As of right now the revolutionary phone is only available to the Chinese market.
Powerful features of the new device include two processor cores running at 1GHz each. Powered by nVidia Tegra with 512mb of RAM. The device is as powerful as some notebook computers.
Equipped with a 4” qHD (960×540) touchscreen display and the ability to play 3D games and comes preloaded with business applications and such as sticky notes and business card. The device supports all Quickoffice® formats such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint and PDF.
Web performance of the MT870 is enhanced by a powerful HTML browser with full Flash support. An 8 megapixel camera with LED flash will allow you to take pictures in low light environments. Images are easily shared via the devices HDMI out and WLAN features.
The MT870 aims to be a true mobile multimedia center that provides a great video experience.
The MT870's release also unveils the Mobile Market-Shop4Apps store that will come preloaded on the new smart phones. This new effort is a collaboration between Motorola and China Mobile.
